History: Allison on The Wiki.
Personality:
Allison is a good example of what happens when tradition and clashes with a new, younger generation. Raised to be a hunter like the rest of her family, Allison displayed the aptitudes required of her, yes, but also showed a rebellious streak that evidenced her need for independence. Thorough the series we see Allison balance her responsibilities as a hunter with her own experiences and desires as a regular teenager, to a varying level of success and going from one extreme to another until finding a center where she can move comfortably. The dichotomy between Duty and Choice remains a strong theme in her and how she sees the world, though.
As a Hunter, Allison has shown to be ruthless and assertive, although measured and clear in her intent to not kill unless absolutely necessary. She's by far the less extreme of the hunters, closely followed by her father. Allison believes that everyone deserves to be protected, instead of kept in line through violence and fear. She's outstanding at what she does though, and isn't afraid of showing her enemies just how dangerous she can be if pressed. Allison prefers the less noticeable approach, either surrounding and/or ambushing her targets, hitting either from behind or by surprise to end a fight in close quarters quickly, or from afar to maximize the advantage that her arrows give her. Allison is very tactical and methodical, shown to work on her weapons regularly, build her own arrows and keep a tidy working space. She takes her role very seriously despite her personal claims about those that use their "authority" in an abusive way. Her view of the Code that rules hunters is a lot looser than that of the rest of her family, and is what allows her to see the werewolves and other supernatural creatures as allies rather than inherent threats.
Because of that, Allison is a force of change within her own family; she makes both her parents question the way they deal with things, although each of her parents take different approaches to the supernatural world. It's because of Allison that her father went from being a remorseless hunter to someone that sees her friends as the kids they are, and try to protect them, perhaps as he projects his daughter into them. Allison's way of seeing things signed her as a different sort of hunter, to the point her father was certain she would become the head of the Argent family in due time; women of the family are usually raised to lead, after all, and Allison was hitting all the right marks as well as she carved her own path.
As a teenage girl, Allison is full of life and high expectations regarding her life. She wants to experience all sorts of things and make sure she has a good time whenever she can. Allison is the kind of person that makes friends easily, and forges strong bonds with those around her. Usually the voice of reason among her friends, she's the level headed one, usually taking on the role of the Straight Man to the hijinks of the rest, but she's not nearly as uptight as she might appear at times to keep herself from engaging in silliness. Allison isn't particularly loud, usually preferring to take a more quiet approach to things while letting others make for the noise and excitement, although she will indulge in kicking and screaming when surrounded by friends and loved ones. Allison prefers personal, private moments to show her more vulnerable side. A hopeless romantic, Allison isn't the sort of girl that waits hopelessly for the guy to notice her, and will take the necessary steps to make herself perfectly clear in her intentions. She's not shy about what she wants either, and while she's not one to shout it to the winds she won't sugarcoat her desires from someone she loves, as long as she feels they've reached the right point in their relationship. This also applies to her friends in general; Allison has no issue in showering her friends with affection.
As mentioned before, Allison is methodical and organized. Intelligent, although not to genius levels, we never see Allison struggle with school, and we're shown how her investigative skills are superb. She's witty and resourceful, and problems are generally taken as challenges for her, which prompts her to try harder. Still, Allison is only human, and her limitations when compared to the rest of her friends become evident now and then, which is something that brings great frustration to her. Allison hates feeling powerless, and her desperation to assert herself as someone that didn't need to be saved is what ultimately takes her on a darker path for a while, until she learns to cope with her feelings. Still, Allison is stubborn and usually prefers to figure things herself, and will probably take badly to be given hints or handicaps, seeing them as displays of pity. Allison's anger is low key, measured but intense. She rarely gets really angry, but when she does she tends to retaliate in a single, definitive way. More often than not though, Allison is prone to bottle it up and try to forget about it, but it will eventually resurface and influence her temper.
Whenever something bothers Allison though, she doesn't just bottle it up, she tries to use it up in beneficial ways, aka training like hell. Before her death, Allison was the most dedicated to honing her skills in the group, not only because of her condition as a regular human, but also because it goes in line with the dedication she puts into everything she does. Allison doesn't do things half cocked, and when she compromises she always gives herself entirely to the task. Her word is final and as binding as any contract to her, and despite the disagreements with her family she follows in their teachings and tries to live with honor and consequence of her beliefs.
Abilities/Powers: Ordinary Joe with extraordinary sharpshooting skills is about right!
Trained to hunt supernatural creatures, specially werewolves, Allison is an outstanding gymnast and archer, the later taking precedence over the former. We're shown several times just how good she is with bows and crossbows, being able to hit moving targets at great distance with little to no time to aim. Allison is physically very fit, capable of acrobatic feats when needed to move her way around enemies with far more strength and destructive power than her. She's also very good at close quarters combat, but Allison is specialized in quickly taking her target rather than fighting for prolonged amounts of time.
Weaknesses: Allison has the regular limitations of a vanilla human when compared to supernatural/superpowered beings.
Allison lives to protect, and that is what ultimately gets her killed. She will always put herself on the line for the sake of others, even when she knows the odds aren't in her favor. Specially if the odds are bad, because that means things are getting really dangerous. She's not a martyr by any standard, but she will throw her life away for the sake of saving others, and she will do it with the conviction that she's doing the right thing. Although she's been trained to control her emotions, Allison is still susceptible to lose her temper or falter in the face of danger, which will put a dent on her abilities, not to mention on her own person.
Trust means a lot to Allison, and while she's easy to befriend she's a bit more reluctant to give her trust. But once she does she will depend on that person, which makes her vulnerable to betrayal, something she has had not enough experience to deal with well enough.

Okay
[ She sets the device against something sturdy enough to support it standing and sits far enough she's visible from the waist up; yes, Allison has practiced this. ]
My name is Allison. I'm not sure where to begin... [ Allison looks shaken, sure, but it's clear she's making a commendable effort at keeping her cool. ] Only that I didn't see this coming. At all. I guess nobody did? But it doesn't make it any stranger. The last thing I remember... it makes no sense that I would be here. The lack of anything that passes for a good answer isn't doing anyone any good, I bet.
[ Allison shakes her head slowly. She's not going to whine to whoever is watching. ]
All I know is that right now? I would prefer to not be alone. So, if anyone's nearby [ Location! ] Come meet me? We can share stories and try to figure this out. Or at least not be alone.
[ And she leans in and turns the device off. That went better than expected. ]

She runs.
She's not sure of what she's running from, though. Death itself? Somehow she has already outrun it, at least for the moment; she remembers the blade coming her way, how it was final, unavoidable. It's the shock, most likely, what keeps her going, pushing her body past its breaking point as she darts through woods she has never seen, avoiding treacherous paths of roots and fallen branches, rocks and mud threatening to slow her down, or stop her altogether. But she can't stop, she won't stop. She needs to run, because if she's moving she's alive, and if she's alive then she can stop thinking about the blade--All the muscles in her torso tighten, her chest closes off for a moment.
--the blade that's not there, the gaping wound that's missing, just a few seconds off. And the blood, it's all inside. And so she runs, and runs. And yet... a part of her wants to stop running, turn around, face whatever that is chasing her. Because Allison knows she's not being chased, at least not by something physical; once she stops running she'll have to look into the eyes of reality, admit what happened and pick herself back up, if there's anything to pick up. She's scared, but she's also determined. You can only outrun your issues for so long, and the ache at the back of her legs remind her of her humanity. She's going to run for a bit longer.
The terrain remains unchanged, but before Allison can think of it as predictable she's met with a chasm, a particularly deep creek. It's jump or fall, never stop. She jumps, falls and rolls on the other side. And suddenly the world is very still, the night is silent, no sound around her other than her frantic panting. But even that slows down, and soon after Allison is getting to her feet, adjusting the clothes on her (clothes caked with dry blood), looking around and feeling oddly... alive. She can't explain why, but that's that. She's alive, and she won't find out why if she keeps running aimlessly. Time to get some sense of direction.
She walks.
She's on to face her future head on.
